Clean all propeller shaft bolts and apply Mopar® Lock & Seal Adhesive or equivalent to the threads before installation.Compress the propeller shaft enough to install the shaft into the axle and transfer case flanges.Align installation reference marks on the transfer case flange (1) front shaft CV joint (2).

Install CV joint retainers (2) and bolts (1). Tighten bolts to 20 N·m (15 ft. lbs.).

Align installation reference marks on the front propeller shaft flange (1) and axle flange (2).

Install the axle flange (1) bolts (2) and tighten to 110 N·m (81 ft. lbs.).
