Remove the center console (3) (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/CENTER CONSOLE - REMOVAL).

Lockout the parking brake lever by inserting a punch (1) in the hole on the lever and by pulling up on the cable (3) to loosen and provide some slack (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/PARKING BRAKE - STANDARD PROCEDURE).

Disconnect the rear park cables (2) from the equalizer.

Disconnect the electrical connector (4).Disconnect the electrical wiring harness clip (5) on the side of the lever.Remove the four mounting nuts (2) for the park brake lever.Remove the lever from the vehicle.
