Disconnect negative cable from battery.Raise vehicle on hoist.Remove the accessory drive belt. (Refer to 7 - COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - REMOVAL) Remove vibration damper bolt.Insert Special Tool 8450 into crankshaft nose . Position 3-jaw puller Special Tool 1026 on damper as shown in . Turn puller forcing screw until damper releases from crankshaft.Remove the crankshaft vibration damper.
