Inspect oil drain plug and plug hole for stripped or damaged threads and repair as necessary. Install a new drain plug gasket. Tighten to 27 N·m (20 ft. lbs.).Inspect oil pan mounting flange for bends or distortion. Straighten flange if necessary.Inspect condition of oil screen and pick-up tube, clean or replace as necessary.
