Clean sealing surfaces and apply a 1/8 inch bead of Mopar® Engine RTV GEN II at the parting line of the chain case cover and the rear seal retainer .

Position a new pan gasket (6) on oil pan .Install oil pan (4) and tighten fasteners to 12 N·m (105 in. lbs.) .Install the flex plate cover.

Lower vehicle and install oil level indicator .Connect negative cable to battery.Fill crankcase with oil to proper level.
