Remove oil pan (Refer to 9 - ENGINE/LUBRICATION/OIL PAN - REMOVAL).Drill a 3.175 mm (1/8 in.) hole in the center of the retainer cap . Insert a self-threading sheet metal screw into the cap.Using suitable pliers, remove cap and discard.Remove spring and relief valve .
