Remove the transmission skid plate (1), (Refer to 13 - FRAME & BUMPERS/FRAME/TRANSMISSION SKID PLATE - REMOVAL).Remove the transfercase skid plate (4), (Refer to 13 - FRAME & BUMPERS/FRAME/TRANSFER CASE SKID PLATE - INSTALLATION).

Remove the left side bolts (1).

Remove the fuel tank skid plate bolts (2).Remove the right side bolts (1) and remove the crossmember (3).
