Install the intermediate shaft to the vehicle.Install the lower intermediate shaft (3) to the upper intermediate shaft (1).Install the upper pinch bolt (2) and tighten the bolt to 49 N·m (36 ft. lbs.).

Install the coupler (1) at the steering gear (2).Install the lower coupler pinch bolt at the steering gear and tighten the bolt to 49 N·m (36 ft. lbs.).Unlock the steering wheel.Reconnect the negative battery cable.
