Driver side instrument panel duct shown. Passenger side duct similar.Position the instrument panel ducts (1 and 4) to the top of the instrument panel support (3).Connect the instrument panel ducts to the center duct (5). Make sure the ducts are fully engaged to each other.Install the screw (2) that secures each instrument panel duct to the center of the instrument panel support. Tighten the screws to 1.2 N·m (10 in. lbs.).

Install the screw (3) that secures the outlet end of each instrument panel duct (1) to the instrument panel support (2). Tighten the screws to 1.2 N·m (10 in. lbs.).Install the defroster duct (refer to 24 - HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING/DISTRIBUTION/DUCT-DEFROSTER - INSTALLATION).Install the demister ducts (refer to 24 - HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING/DISTRIBUTION/DUCTS-INSTRUMENT PANEL DEMISTER - INSTALLATION).Install the instrument panel cover (refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER - INSTALLATION).Install the instrument panel (refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY - INSTALLATION).

If the foam seal on the top of the HVAC housing is deformed or damaged, the seal must be replaced.Position the center instrument panel duct (2) into the instrument panel support (1) and onto the top of the HVAC housing assembly (4).Install the two screws (3) that secure the center duct to the HVAC housing assembly. Tighten the screws to 1.2 N·m (10 in. lbs.).Install the driver and passenger side instrument panel ducts (refer to DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE).Install the defroster duct (refer to 24 - HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING/DISTRIBUTION/DUCT-DEFROSTER - INSTALLATION).Install the demister ducts (refer to 24 - HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING/DISTRIBUTION/DUCTS-INSTRUMENT PANEL DEMISTER - INSTALLATION).Install the instrument panel cover (refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER - INSTALLATION).Install the instrument panel (refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY - INSTALLATION).
