The EVAP canister purge solenoid (1) is located near the battery.

Connect quick-connect fittings (2) and (3) to solenoid.Connect electrical connector (1).Push solenoid assembly onto the tongue-type bracket. The vapor/vacuum lines and hoses must be firmly connected. Also check the vapor/vacuum lines at the ESIM switch and filter for damage or leaks. If a leak is present, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set.
