The Data Link Connector (DLC) (3) is a 16-way molded plastic connector insulator on a dedicated take out of the instrument panel wire harness. This connector is located at the lower edge of the instrument panel (1), just outboard of the steering column opening cover (2). The connector insulator is retained by integral latch features within a rectangular cutout in the instrument panel lower structural support just below the lower instrument panel base trim and just inboard of the cowl side inner panel.
