The CMP (Camshaft Position Sensor) (3) is bolted to front of engine. The CMP uses a pigtail wiring harness (2). This connects the sensor to the engine harness.Disconnect negative battery cable.Disconnect electrical connectors (1).Remove sensor mounting bolt (4).An O-ring is used to seal the sensor to engine. Remove sensor (3) from engine by pulling while rotating.
