Position the rear license plate lamp unit (4) to the rear bumper cover (1).Insert the license plate lamp pigtail wire harness and connector (2) through the clearance hole in the rear bumper cover.Align the mounting holes of the license plate lamp unit to the two mounting holes in the rear bumper cover.Install and tighten the two screws (3) that secure the lamp unit to the rear bumper cover. Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (15 in. lbs.).Reach under and behind the rear bumper to reconnect the license plate lamp pigtail wire harness connector to the body wire harness.Reinstall the license plate onto the rear bumper cover.Reconnect the battery negative cable.
