Mounting hole (1) uses a screw. Depending on model line, mounting holes (2) may use either two screws, or one screw and a locating pin.

Connect electrical connector to speed control switch.Install speed control switch mounting screws.Tighten screws (1) to 1.6 N·m (15 in. lbs.). Make sure rubber seal is in place around switch.

Install horn switch.Install three mounting fasteners.Connect electrical connector to clockspring.Install driver airbag. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/DRIVER AIRBAG - INSTALLATION) Do not connect battery negative cable yet. Refer first to airbag system test. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)Reconnect battery using Airbag System Test procedure in Restraints. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)Close hood.Verify vehicle and system operation.
