Check to be certain that the U-nut (2) is in good condition and properly installed in the front of the left load beam (1).Position the hood ajar switch bracket (4) onto the left load beam.Install and tighten the screw (6) that secures the hood ajar switch bracket to the load beam. Tighten the screw to 8 N·m (71 in. lbs.).Reinstall the hood ajar switch (3) into the mounting bracket. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/VEHICLE THEFT SECURITY/HOOD AJAR SWITCH - INSTALLATION).
