Reach into the well of the component tray (3) directly behind the washer reservoir to access and Install a new rubber grommet seal/filter screen unit into the washer pump mounting hole in the washer reservoir (6). Always use a new rubber grommet seal/filter screen on the reservoir.Position the inlet nipple of the washer pump (1) to the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the washer reservoir.Using hand pressure, press firmly and evenly downward on the washer pump/motor unit until the inlet nipple is fully seated in the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the pump mounting hole of the reservoir.Press the top of the washer pump/motor unit toward the reservoir far enough to engage the snap post (5) on the top of the motor housing into the receptacle in the reservoir.If the vehicle is so equipped, reconnect the rear washer hose (7) to the barbed pump outlet nipple.Reconnect the front washer hose (4) to the barbed pump outlet nipple.Reconnect the engine compartment wire harness connector for the washer pump/motor unit to the connector receptacle (2) on the top of the motor housing.Reconnect the battery negative cable.Refill the washer reservoir with the washer fluid siphoned from the reservoir during the removal procedure.
