Disconnect battery negative cable.Disconnect inlet air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector (2).Remove air inlet resonator to throttle body hose assembly (1).

Disconnect the throttle connectors (ETC) (3) from the throttle body.Disconnect the EVAP hose at the throttle.

Remove the EGR tube (1).Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) motor and throttle position sensor (TPS) wiring.

Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (2).

Disconnect the PCV hose (1).

Remove intake manifold bolts and remove the manifold.Cover the lower intake manifold with a suitable cover while the upper manifold is removed.Clean and inspect the upper intake manifold.
