Disconnect the battery.(Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/CABLES - REMOVAL)Remove the air cleaner housing.Remove the upper air deflector.Remove the fan.

Remove the fuel lines.Remove the high pressure fuel feed line.Disconnect the fuel rail pressure sensor.Disconnect the fuel pressure solenoid.Remove the fuel rail.

Disconnect the fuel injector connectors.Remove the fuel injectors.

Remove the front lifting bracket.

Remove the idler pulley.

Disconnect the CMP sensor (1).Remove the CMP sensor (1).Remove the upper front cover.

Disconnect and position aside the glow plug harness.

Remove the timing belt.

Remove the exhaust camshaft oil seal (1).Remove the camshaft sprocket (2).

Disconnect the oil separator (1).Remove the vacuum line (2) from the cylinder head cover.

Remove the cylinder head cover.

Remove the intake camshaft oil seal (2).
