Always use new flex plate or flywheel bolts.Install the flex plate hub and hand tighten the fasteners.Do Not lubracate new bolts as they are already coated with an anti-scuff treatment.Align the flex plate to hub paint marks, where applicable. 

Install the flex plate bolts. Torque the bolts to 50 nm (37 lbs. ft.).Loosen one flex plate bolt at a time and tighten to 25 nm (18 lbs. ft.). Turn each bolt an additional 60°.Install the transmission (Refer to 21 - TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE/AUTOMATIC - 45RFE/545RFE - INSTALLATION).
