Make sure that the lower oil pan sealing surface is free of oil, debris and silicone.Apply a 1/8 bead of silicone gasket to the lower oil pan (1) sealing surface.

Install bolts 1 and 2 into the lower oil pan and torque to 15 Nm (133 lbs. in.)..Install the remaining bolts in the sequence illustrated.Torque the oil pan bolts in sequence to 15 Nm (133 lbs. in.).Loosen each bolt 90° and use the illustrated sequence to torque the bolts to 15 Nm (133 lbs. in.).Refill engine oil to proper level.
