Use caution when removing and installing oil jets. Damage to oil jet nozzle could cause severe engine damage. Lubricate o-ring on oil jet.Install oil jet retaining bolt. Torque bolt to 10.8N·m.(96 in.lbs.).

Install the balance shaft assembly.

Lubricate the oil pickup tube oring before installation.Install the oil pickup tube and torque the bolt to 15 Nm (12 lbs.ft).

Install the upper oil pan gasket.Install the upper oil pan bolts in positions one and two, then follow the sequence illustrated for the remaining bolts. Once all of the bolts are installed, torque the m6 bolts to 15 Nm (133 lbs. in.) and M8 bolts to 32 Nm (23 lbs ft.).

Install the lower oil pan gasket.

Install bolts one and two into the lower oil pan, then follow the sequence for the remaining bolts.Torque the oil pan bolts in sequence to 15 Nm (133 lbs. in.).Turn each bolt an additional 90°.Refill engine oil to proper level.

Connect the crankshaft position sensor (CKP).Connect negative battery cable.
