The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) (4) is located between the transmission and the rear of the engine block. It is bolted to the engine block below the crankshaft hub (1).Position CKP sensor (4) into mounting hole. Before tightening sensor mounting bolt, be sure sensor is completely flush to cylinder block. If sensor is not flush, damage to sensor mounting tang may result.Install CKP mounting bolt (3). Tighten bolt to 11 N·m ( 8 ft. lbs.) torque.Connect CKP electrical connector (2).Position CKP access cover. Install bolts and tighten to 15 N·m ( 11 ft. lbs.) torque.Lower vehicle.
