Visually inspect the related wiring harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals. 2. CHECK VIN IN PCMWith the scan tool compare the VIN that is programmed into the PCM to the VIN on the vehicle.Does the VIN programmed into the PCM match the vehicles VIN?YesGo To 3NoReplace the Powertrain Control Module in accordance with Service Information. 3. REPLACE THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLERTo avoid serious or fatal injury, turn the ignition off, disconnect the battery and wait two minutes before proceeding.If the airbag control module is dropped at any time, it must be replaced.
